Cookies and local storage

The public pages remember the language you choose in your browser’s local storage (the entry is called “user-locale”). It holds only that choice and is never sent to us. You can delete it in your browser settings.

Logging in to the private area (for people who have an account created by us) sets a session cookie. It is needed to keep you logged in and is removed when you log out or the session expires.

Both are strictly necessary for the function you asked for, so the site does not show a cookie banner. If we ever add anything that needs your consent, we will ask for it first and describe it here.

Server logs

When you open a page or download a file, the web server records the time, your IP address, the requested address, the response status and the browser’s user agent. We use this to keep the site running and secure and to count visits and downloads in aggregate. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Logs are kept for up to 30 days and are not combined with any other data. They are processed by our hosting provider on our behalf.

Private area

If you have an account, we store your login and a hash of your password (never the password itself) to let you log in and download the files you are allowed to. Login attempts and password changes are recorded in technical logs. The legal basis is performing the service you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or a copy, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to contact@gk3-apps.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).

Changes

If the site starts to handle data differently, this page will be updated before the change, and the date above will change.
